Women in Worship: Discipling, Equipping, and Encouraging Women Who Lead Worship

*This conversation is for women only

A large percentage of churches in North America, no matter the denomination, have men and women serving in worship ministry together. And yet, there’s a noticeable gap in the development of women in their leadership. Join us for a conversation with Jaleesa McCreary (Austin Stone) and Donna Stuart (Passion City) on discipling, equipping and encouraging women who are leading worship in the local church. We will sing together, pray together and hear how Donna was integral in Jaleesa’s development as a young worship leader.

The Leader Cohort Q&A

The Leader Cohort Program launches this fall and we want you to be a part of a group!
Let’s spend half an hour together answering some FAQ’s like: What is the purpose of the program? How and when are groups meeting? Who is leading the program and will there be leaders for each smaller group? Upon completion, what universities and seminaries will accept this program as credit towards a degree in worship studies? Are there scholarships to help cover the cost?

Truth & Clarity: Should We Sing Songs From Churches We Don’t Align With?

Singing the truth of God’s word is priority number one for any worship leader. But what about considering where the song comes from? If a controversial church, pastor or movement sings a song that is biblically sound? Is it helpful for my church to still sing it? Let’s look to the Word, ask the Lord for wisdom, and encourage one another to consider what is best for each of our local churches in musical worship.

Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor and Worship Leader: Are We All On The Same Page?

Let’s be real - often times, the answer is no. The Lead Pastor(s) and the Worship Leader are the most visible ministry roles on nearly every church staff. Alignment, clear communication and mutual respect are non negotiable but easier said than done. In partnership with The Slingshot Group, let’s have a conversation about how to get on the same page in worship ministry and serve our churches faithfully together.
